Botox, Collagen and Make Up?

Hello peeps! This is the sequel of my last post, New Interest, New Hobby (PART 1).

As we all know, women nowadays seems know how to make their looks looked prettier. There are lots of methods in doing that, you can do Botox, or maybe inject some Collagen in your face, or by doing some make ups which is for temporary period.

However, the question is. Yes, by referring to my title. Botox? Collagen Injection? Make Up? IS IT GOOD FOR OUR SKIN AND BODY?

I guess everyone knows the answer of it. Some people may says, 'Mind your own business, please'. Some people may says, 'It's depending on how well you use that products'. Some people may say, 'It doesn't contribute any good to you. You'll be regretted later'.

So peeps.. You are in what decision? Is it good? Or, is it bad?

As for me.. NATURAL BEAUTY FTW. (wtf, so out of topic LOLOLOLOL)

Yeap, maybe you may seemed to see me always uploading my photos with make ups on, or at least with eyeliner on. But actually, in the real world, I'm not that addicted with make up thingy. It usually been done according to my mood during that time. But yes, when I'm in a mood to camwhore, I usually put myself in a ready condition. Wth no one like to snap their ugly pictures, do they? SO DO YOU, AND SO AM I.

Sometimes, I'm lazy enough to powder my face, what more to make ups. However, I don't think people who want to 'dress' themselves before going out is actually a wrong thing to do. It's their decision of life. So, it's depend on them whether to use make up to look beautiful or not. We as a human too shouldn't critic them. It's their right. Cosmetics were sold to be bought and used, right? So, why don't they buy and use it if they want? Think logically. Don't just say like you don't like them because they are fake or something.

LOL, I seemed so emotional and so pissed off huh. Haha, don't mind with me. No offence actually. I'm posting this wasn't for myself. It's just suddenly popped in my thought, and I'm in the mood of writing, so why don't I express my thoughts here, right? :)

P/S What do you think about the above pictures? Isn't it, TOO MUCH? I just think, too much make ups also bring no good. So, be brilliant in whatever decision you may make. It's your life, actually. And you are the boss of your life. Anyone may critic you with your decision, but screw them. After all, it wasn't their life.

Do You Have a Problem With People Who Seems to Know How to Improve Themselves?

I don't understand, why do people need to be so sarcastic about a thing? Is it because they are jealous with others? Or maybe they got some unsettled issue with that particular person? Aww come on! Grow up! We are not a child anymore, just because others seem to know how to improve themselves, then you shouldn't be too sarcastic. If you feel annoyed with their improvement, just ignore it. By being sarcastic when certainly show that person isn't doing anything wrong towards you, this just show that you are jealous with that person. Pity on you.

Okay okay maybe you are right. You are not actually jealous with that person. But then, back to the topic, what are your problem? Why do you need to be sarcastic? I can give you an excuse to be sarcastic enough if that particular person has already been doing something bad onto you. But what if they are don't? You are so confusing, I guess.

I know, you'll be like..

But please, seriously peeps. You need to explain why. Why do you need to be like that? Uh~

Anyway, psycho peep..
Why don't you try the same thing too? I mean, do what that particular person has been done before which makes you to have the jealousy in you? Maybe you'll find happiness in doing it, and not being sarcastic because of your jealousy towards him or her. Try if first, okay. Then tell us, if you are still not satisfied and still want to be a sarcastic person, then just go on. Deal?

P/S Sarcastic post from me, too. wtf. LOLOLOL

Woooyoungmi SS12

Woooyoungmi_FeatureButton

It has been a couple of days since my whistle-stop weekend tour of Paris menswear fashion week and as temperatures soared, I needed this time to take stock off all that I had encountered. Despite focusing most of my attention on tradeshow and showroom visits, I was fortunate enough to take my seat at one of the real highlight shows of the season so far, Woooyoungmi. Now, we have long admired how this label's garments are streamlined and enriched with details and styled finishes but for SS12 vibrant colour and print are added. This heady mix provided a most agreeable summer friendly cocktail.

Here, Woooyoungmi continued along its path of quiet revolution, as it looked to reinvent the wardrobe for men without frightening them but introduced dazzling colour and prints for the first time. The bright orange, lemon sorbet, acid yellow and watermelon green palette was certainly a surprise. It might have whisked me back to the gelato cabinet of my favourite ice cream parlour Morellis, but these bright hues were equally at home within this holiday wardrobe. Like most of us do when the warmer months approach, Wooyoungmi and her sister Woojanghee looked to the film The Talented Mr Ripley for inspiration. However, here they take the traditionally stylish wardrobes of the Minghella masterpiece and inject a dash of modern quirkiness to help create their sophisticated resort wear and undoutedly injected more energy in to the season.

A raffia theme runs throughout, visors, bags and tops in the fabric capture a playfulness that is offset by the sophistication of relaxed tailoring. By embracing unique prints for the first time and experimenting with elements of active wear. a graphic edge is added to the easy silhouette. Furthermore, accessories highlight the easy summer mood with bags that are designed to be strapped across the back or worn around the waist for leisure time. Hats and visors keep the sun off the face and jelly soles bring freshness to more altogether classic shoe styles.

The now signature Woooyoungmi detailing was evident throughout, if just with a little more subtlety than in previous season. This blogger excitedly snapped away as the models paraded down the runway and captured just a selection of the them. Now, gorge on the detail...

New Interest. New Hobby. (PART 2)

I got another interest other than learning how to put on make-ups, which is, D.I.Y Style sewing. D.I.Y here stands for Design-It-Yourself. I guess you all already know, sewing is a fun activity to do. I know, not all of you love to sew, and you can't see how it can gives any fun to you. Enough said, try it first and you'll get the fun of doing it. The satisfaction that you get after finished sewing a thing you want, that is what is actually good with sewing. The photos below are a few examples of DIY sewing. This apparently not pictures that I've taken myself. I actually Google-d the pictures.

Isn't it awesome? You can actually re-design the clothes that you think do not give any good to you anymore. Usually, I modified my no brand clothes. I felt terrible and not brave enough to cut my branded clothes. It is because, I usually have this thought, what if the 'modification' made was a fail? I don't want to regret in the future. Lol.

Anyway, as for me, since I owned no sewing machines, so I just managed to do a hand-sew. I promise myself that I'll get one of the kind as mine in the future. For the beginning, I learn how to make my straight cut jeans and turned it into a skinny jeans that fitted me well. And guess what, I succeed! Yay! :D I also watched lots of How To's videos on Youtube. I plan to do it later on my own. :) I already found some materials that can be used as my next sewing project. I hope I can do it real soon. Wish me luck, peeps!

This is one of the video that I get from the internet which I think useful enough for us if we want to make our jeans in skinny condition. have fun watching it, peeps! Since I didn't know how to upload the video here, so click the link below to watch the video, thanks!

There are one blue jeans, two black jeans, two gray jeans, and one chocolate color long pant or slack. I guess there are about six pants of mine that already been 'modified' by me. As for the blouse, I already d.i.y-ed lots of it, and I'm lazy to count it for now :P Pardon me, okay! I sewed it with the design I want. If the clothes are bigger, I'm going to cut it into smaller size and modify any part that I certainly don't like about the clothes. Apparently my skill is still in mediocre level, so the job done can still be seen messy :) but it's okay, at least I try, right?

I think that's all. Good Night, peeps.

New Interest. New Hobby. (PART 1)

These few months lately, I've found some new interests that I guess, it suits me well. How did I know that it suits me well? Well guess what, if it isn't, then I'm not going to try it right? I guess that explained why.

Anyway, I've put my interest on make-up tutorials lately. I found it interesting, and managed myself to learn some tutorials. As a woman, I personally think that at least we should know how to put on some make-up. Make up has magic, it can helps a woman to look more beautiful. However, you need to make sure you're doing a make up with minimal use of it. By over-doing it, it isn't bring any beauty, but you'll be seeing at your worst. You doesn't need to be a professional one, at least know the basic of it. So, here's some photos of me with make-up done by myself.

P/S Since I am an amateur in this area, so it may looked horrible. I promise I'll do it better next time.

This is my first attempt. I learnt how to do it from Bubzbeauty Tutorial. It's awesome.
This photo was taken on Mandarin Night organized by UiTM Sabah Mandarin Club. I guess this is my first time doing a make up for any functions I've attended before.
This photo was taken on DBS Appreciation Day. I was invited to accept the award because I got 4 flat for last semester. Lol. Sounds so arrogant, aren't I? *evil's laughs* :D Anyway, as for this photo, I used the same method for the make up with the above photo. I tried to make the fish braid hair which the tutorial also has been done by Bubzbeauty Tutorial. But as you can see, I failed. Aww~ I only managed to do the basic braid. So, that's the result. I kinda satisfied with the look, but my boyf was not really into with the hair. Lol. Whateverrrr~
As for this photo, the make up is simple. I just put on my  routine, and played only with the eyeliners. To make the eyes looked wider and bigger, I put on some white eyeliner on my lower lashes. I learnt this from Michelle Phan, one of my fav make-up tutor. :)

This is my attempt to make a Yuyu Gyaru Make up. I learnt the tutorial from a Japanese girl, who I forgot her name :P To whoever the girl is, thank you for the tutorial :) Btw, I just cut my fringe before I took this picture and the next day, I regretted it. I missed my middle-length fringe. =.=' Thank God it keeps longer and longer again nowadays :)
Yeap, the photo of me with the attempt to make a  Romantic Evening Look which surely looked like I failed. Haha. At this time, I still didn't really know how to curl my hair, and the eye shadows I put on were too little. I guess I'll try to do it again next time, and I'll make sure it going to be a success.

This is a look that I created myself. I just tried to play with the black pencil eyeliner and a red lipstick, and this was the result. Kinda failed actually, haha!
Summer Carnival Look, credit to Suzy for this look. This photo was taken this evening after I finished doing this look. The tutorial is okay, but because of the weather lately, which is so effing hot, I didn't put my 100% effort for this look. So, this is the result.
Pale looking. Actually, for this look, I'm not trying to do it with the aid of any make up tutorial. It just happened like that. But, as for the lips, I got the idea from Xiaxue, a Singaporean blogger. The lips was done by using the nude color of lipstick, and a hint of red or pink lipstick at the center of the lips.
Okay, enough with the pictures. There are lot more pictures of me but I think this should be enough. I hope I can improve my make up skill in the future :) I love to make up. My new hobby, I guess. There is actually another new addiction of mine. I'll story about it in the next post. Toodles :)

Details: The familiar fox in Paris

IMG_9408
The striding fox has been featured on the E. Tautz logo since its founding in 1876 and echoes the label's rich hunting and sportswear heritage. It was a familiar sight during my weekend in Paris as these fabulous silver pins were handed out to visitors at the London Showroom Men. Here, one member of the BFC team wears it very well indeed.

New Place. New Home. New Hope.

In my last post, I've mentioned that me and my family will be staying at Kota Kinabalu.

Yes, it's true. We'll be moving in there. Honestly, I'm quite excited with the news that finally we'll be living in Kota Kinabalu. You know, by living in the big city, it's easy for me to have fun. Jk! :P Actually, there are reasons why Kota Kinabalu is special:-

#1. My campus located in Sepangar. And what happier for me than having to have my house nearer my campus? Isn't it awesome? Finally I don't have to be sad when it's time to part from my family every time I need to go to my campus. It's like heaven to me :)

#2. My boyf is also living in Kota Kinabalu too. Aww~ So then I can date with him during the holidays too. :P

#3. Almost all my collegemates are from Kota Kinabalu. So, it's easy for us to meet and to have some fun during the holiday :)

HAHA wtf, all the reasons given are pointless after all. :DD

Anyway.. I'll be missing this place for sure. I've been living here for my entire life. This place has given me a lot of experiences that I can't forget till forever. How precious it is to be an island girl :) I'm going to miss all the calmness that I can get here, the view of the beach which is too beautiful to be described, the memories of being a kid in this place, etc.

The Holiday :)

Good Morning!

Happy to be here again. :) Finally, it's holiday! No more quizzes, no more lectures, no more assignments, and the most important thing is.. no more wake up early in the morning to go to class. AHHAHA I'm so glad that finally these days have come.

Talking about holiday, actually I'm planning to get a temporary job. However, I think that's not going to happen. *sigh*. Have I told you guys that my dad has been promoted? Yay, I guess I haven't. Anyway, Congratulations to my daddy for the promotion. We know you deserved it :)

He's been promoted and needed to transfer to Kota Kinabalu. So, no choices, we have to move out from here, and stay in Kota Kinabalu.

Since this promotion of job is quite an unpredictable decision, so we're only managed to rent a house for a while. It's hard to find and buy a new house right now since it is a long term decision. Fail to choose it well then you'll feel the pain later. So, daddy has planned that for this mean time, we're going to rent a house at Beverly Hill before getting a new house. Yay.

I think that's all. I'll blog more about the house later on. Toodles peeps!

Baartmans and Siegel SS12: Dust Drifters

The moment we excitedly showcased the degree collections of the Dutch/English design halves that make up Baartmans and Siegel we knew we had discovered a couple of gems. The design duo first met whilst at Viktor & Rolf, and were united in their belief of beautiful craftsmanship and imaginative design. The resulting label instantly became one to watch, recognisable by the pairs use of interactive texture and sharp tailoring. In a few short seasons, they've become synonymous with interesting details and menacing masculinity winning fans and plaudits alike. Now, as they prepare their Paris showroom, we can provide the first look at their impressive SS12 collection, Dust Drifters.

Now, the design duo tend to start at more of a thematic start point, with a character created and established in popular culture, for example the Jules Verne SS11 collection and most recently the Blade Runner inspired Deckard collection for AW11. However, this season they've looked at a more tangible, imaginary character, that of a modern nomadic man. A reflective nature and nod to romanced exploration and travel. A character conjured from the dust, and one that belongs to multiple landscapes. Before we take a look at the collection itself, Amber Siegel introduces and shares their visual references..

"For the SS12 collection we wished to look at the idea of a person connecting with a remote, powerful landscape, which they are reborn from. A mutual connection between man and landscape. The collection reflects this simplistic harmony. Accessible yet alters one's sense of self. We were looking at a sort of nomadic soul and atmosphere, and the deserts of Egypt and North America."
Amber Siegel on the inspiration for SS12

A look at their SS12 mood boards.

For SS12, Baartmans and Siegel look at the creation of a character derived from an arid landscape. A character that has risen and been re-absorbed by a transitory and harsh atmosphere. They continue to look at a classic, internally generated masculinity, one which travels to an outward, defined aesthetic of individual aspects, particles, fibres, grouping together to form a unity. Dust Drifters concentrates on the unity of physical representation of man and the unseen, silent insertion into an isolated natural landscape. This sedimentary building of character is literally translated and represented through the use of defined stripes. Washed out, frayed, fine cotton shirts draw inspiration from the sun-fired Arabian terrains. While crème silk crepe shirts provide a nomadic flexibility of comfort, style and functionality.

Throughout, the design duo showcase their characteristically refined, classic cuts, and have developed charmingly nostalgic slim fit pure wool and soft Irish linen suits, which are well suited for the modern traveller. Fine silk-ribbed shirts with flashes of gold hardware explore indulgence and luxury, while one can find comfort and confidence in hand-knitted Breton striped and cable-knit glace cotton sweaters...

Self described as modern-traditionalists, Wouter Baartmans and Amber Siegel’s work focuses on beautiful fabrics that seduce, and shapes that are accessible yet distinctive.  Key items that instantly catch the eye include beautiful, lightweight organza linen shirt-jackets with a Nile-like sheen: perfect breeze-catchers. Water-resistant taupe trenches with butter nappa leather collars and polished horn buttons that provide pure masculine allure.  Whilst Irish linen summer parkas ensure shelter and protection, with leather visor details.

The latest fruits from the collaboration with Grenson.

Furthermore, Dust Drifters marks the continuation of their fruitful collaboration with renowned English shoemakers Grenson by presenting a new shape in two very contrasting styles presenting. The ‘Classic Gentlemen’s Brogue’ in chestnut suede and leather and the ‘Classic Raider Brogue’ in sandstone suede. Streamlined, simplistic, comfortable and classic. As they grow as a brand, Baartmans and Siegel will continue to develop their range of shoes with Grenson. For winter they are already looking to produce a beautiful loafer, boot and town shoe, which shall include fabric as well as leather. I look forward to watching the continued rise of this design duo but first, I will toast their stunning SS12 collection in Paris.
